Handknotted, 100-knot
Undyed ivory field with a deep indigo lotus medallion, woven in a Kathmandu valley cooperative. Sits at 244 x 305 cm with roughly 8 mm pile, so it holds up under a lounge setting without losing knot definition.
Flatweave kilim
Woven on a narrow upright loom in a Nepali workshop that works almost entirely with undyed fleece. Three sheep breeds give the field a gentle shift in tone rather than a flat grey. Low profile, so it clears doors in hallways and dining rooms.
Felted runner
Felted in the studio from carded local wool, then rolled and dried slowly so the shape holds without a rigid backing. The denser surface quiets sound along corridors and beside a bed. Custom lengths are possible when the wool batch allows.
