This page explains what we collect when you ask for a swatch card, send floor plans for a made-to-measure quote, or book a showroom visit in Johannesburg, and how that information is used.

What we collect

Name, email address and phone number you enter in a quote or swatch request.
Floor plans, room measurements in centimetres and any notes you attach.
Messages you send us by email or through the contact form.
Basic technical data: browser type, device, approximate location and pages viewed.

Why we use it

To prepare a made-to-measure quote and confirm measurements before loom time.
To send a swatch card and answer questions about wool, silk blends or knot density.
To arrange a showroom viewing by appointment.
To keep records of custom orders and their approximate weeks on the loom.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies to keep pages working and to measure which listings and care notes are read most. Analytics events are aggregated and are not used to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; core pages will still load, though some preferences may reset.

Sharing and storage

Floor plans and contact details are used only for your quote and are not sold. We share data with service providers that host the site, deliver email and run analytics, and with the weaving workshop when a custom size is confirmed. Records are kept only as long as needed for the order and any follow-up care questions.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold, request corrections, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Where GDPR or CCPA applies to you, these rights include access, portability and the option to opt out of certain processing. Write to us and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Accuracy and honesty

Listings describe real measurements, knot density, pile height and fibre blends as accurately as we can. We do not use fake urgency, invented endorsements or claims of affiliation we do not have, and we do not promise a result we cannot confirm. If something on a listing is unclear, ask before you order.
